This specification has been declared "CANCELLED" by the Aerospace Materials Division, SAE, as of July 2007, and has been superseded by ASTM B 210, Alloy 3003, Temper 0. The requirements of the latest issue of ASTM B 210, Alloy 3003, Temper 0 shall be fulfilled whenever reference is made to the cancelled AMS 4065J. By this action, this been superseded by ASTM B 210, Alloy 3003, Temper 0.

This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of drawn seamless tubing.

This tubing has been used typically for parts requiring low strength and good formability, but usage is not limited to such applications.
