Abstract

Determines the steady-state directional control response of vehicles by measurement of steady-state cornering behavior. Does not give a complete description of a vehicle's total dynamic behavior; specifically it does not test the vehicle's response during transient maneuvers. Other tests are necessary to evaluate completely the vehicle's performance.
