Abstract

Describes physical layer (PHY) and medium access control (MAC) specifications for wireless connectivity with fixed, portable, and moving devices within or entering a personal operating space (POS). A POS is the space about a person or object that typically extends up to 10 m in all directions and envelops the person whether stationary or in motion.
