Abstract

A standard guide for MQA programs which is developed for specialized sectors within the radioassay community, i.e:- environmental restoration/waste management, radiopharmaceuticals, bioassay, routine environmental monitoring and nuclear power chemistry. Provides also the means for establishing the more limited objectives which day-by-day operations of individual laboratory, also includes mandated protocols, information and recommendations to maintain and implement a radioassay QA program. Overall utility of radioassay data which results from the combination of traceable and defensible measurements with careful planning to determine data quality objectives. Standard addresses only aspects for the users program - see guidance in annex D.
