Specifies requirements and tests for proximity switches. Applies to self-contained proximity switches with non-analogue output having semi-conductor switching elements intended to be connected to circuits, the rated voltage of which does not exceed 250 V a.c. 50/60 Hz a.c. or 600 V d.c.
