Provides basic information on the selection of electrical apparatus, and its installation, alteration and maintenance to ensure safe use in areas where combustible materials are generated, prepared, processed, handled, stored or otherwise used, and which are therefore potentially hazardous. It supplements the requirements of Section 9 of AS 3000-SAA Wiring Rules.
